The Strength Analysis feature of RealPokerOdds™ allows you to judge the true value of a hand. RealPokerOdds™ accomplishes this by analyzing all possible common cards or known opponent cards, and flagging any instances where an opponent might have a better hand. For example, in Texas Hold'em, if there are four spades on the board, it is not unreasonable to assume someone might have a Flush. Or, if there are two pairs on the board, it is not unreasonable to assume that someone may have a Full House. What makes the Strenght Analysis tool so powerful is the ability for you to configure the A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), or decision making process. By configuring the A.I., you tell RealPokerOdds™ how pessimistic or optimistic to be. For example, in the early hands of a Texas Hold'em game, three cards of a suit on the board probably means someone has a flush. However, late in the game, when you are head-to-head with one other player, you may consider 3 of one suit an acceptable risk, but you still want RealPokerOdds™ to tell you what the chances of getting 4 of a suit are.
A Profile is a set of rules that RealPokerOdds™ uses when analyzing possible outcomes. You can have as many Profiles as wish. The image above shows the settings for the profile "Head to Head", one of the default Profiles included with RealPokerOdds™. The "Head to Head" is a highly optimistic profile, based on the idea that there are only one or two opponents, and only uncommon board combinations should be a concern, such as 4 cards of a Straight being present.
