The Outs Calculator converts your outs to a percent/ratio. Shown is the classic Texas Four-Flush on the flop scenario. RealPokerOdds™ does a very good job of giving you the chances of getting various types of hands. But every once in awhile there is a situation that is so unique that it needs to be calculated manually. For these cases, RealPokerOdds™ includes an Outs Calculator. The Outs Calculator works for any type of game. You simply enter the number of cards in the deck, the amount of outs you think you have, and the number of cards you have coming. The image to right illustrates this, using the classic Four-Flush case that happens so often in Texas Hold'em:
In this example, there are 47 cards left in the deck, since we only know about the 2 in our hand and the 3 in the flop. With 13 cards in each suit, and 4 hearts showing, that leaves 9 hearts available. The Turn and the River provide 2 oppurtunities to get a heart. With 2 cards left, RealPokerOdds™ also handles Dual-Out situations. For instance, suppose you are in this position:
Let's say before you get a chance to act, your opponent goes All-In. You call, and after you both show your cards, your opponent wishes you good luck with the rest of the tournament. Well, to your horror, the turn and river come 10,9, giving your opponent the win.
You leave the table, and after a few drinks, realize you want to know the chance of pulling a 10,9. Solving this problem is where Dual-Outs comes in. In this example, there are 45 cards available in the deck. There are 16 Dual-Outs to fill the straight (4 Tens multiplied by 4 Nines). Using RealPokerOdds™, this yields a 1.62% chance of filling the straight, or 60.9:1. Tell your opponent to go buy lottery tickets. For the record, the opponent actually had 32 Dual-Outs:
Even with 32 Dual-Outs, it's only a 3.23% (29.9:1) chance of winning. If you don't know the odds, you don't know the game. Order RealPokerOdds™ now!
